Monkstown FC have renewed their partnership with leading sports brand Optimum Nutrition for the upcoming season.

The Sandymount-based club announced the deal ahead of a busy season where they look to retain their position back in Leinster League Division 1A.

Optimum Nutrition, who also back European and Pro-14 champions Leinster, along with English Premiership winners Saracens, has set the standards in sports nutrition for more than 30 years by helping performance-focused athletes achieve their goals.

The globally recognised brand will appear as leading sponsors on the Monkstown First XV jerseys and will support the squad with a range of Optimum Nutrition’s Gold Standard protein, energy and recovery products throughout the season.

Speaking at Sydney Parade, Monkstown First XV captain, Michael McLoughlin said: “We’re delighted to renew our partnership with a top-class brand like Optimum Nutrition again this season, after so much support last year.

Monkstown will battle it out in Leinster League Division 1B, with matches getting underway in September.
