The Club is researching the WW1 service of MFC members with a view to establishing a memorial to those who died.

The research group want to hear from anyone who has any information on the club membership lists, particularly in the years 1883 to 1920 and any information on the military service of any members of the club in the years concerned.

Information of any kind, whether letters, team sheets, fixture cards, match reports, details of matches against army teams, or indeed, simple anecdotal evidence, all would be very welcome.
