DBS Monkstown RFC Rugby Scholarships

DBS & Monkstown RFC are proud to announce a limited number of Rugby scholarships applications for the 2014/2015 academic year are now available. Scholarships will only be awarded to students who have met the academic requirements within the college. It is desired that the potential scholarship student will reach a level of performance that would benefit the sporting performance of the college and club.

The successful applicants must be full-time registered students of DBS for the 2014/2015 academic year and the scholarship will be awarded for a period of one year but may be renewed annually for a maximum period of three years. We are interested in hearing from students who not only have an interest in participating but also coaching and being able to give back to the college, club and community. It is expected of our DBS scholars to be heavily involved in the running and organisation of the recreational side of sporting activities also.

*Applicants must attach a passport photo and include two written references relating to their sport (e.g. from their Sports Coach, Manager eetc). Applicants are encouraged to provide any extra information that they believe will support their application.

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS is Friday 22nd August 2014
